River of No Return

The Salmon River is often called the River of No Return, made famous by Native American tales that those who go down the river never come back. The rapids were so wild, and the cliffs so steep that those who ventured through were never seen again.

We still have awesome whitewater for your rafting enjoyment. The river is beautiful this time of year and you get to see awesome wildlife. A bear was spotted by our last guests sitting in the river taking a little soak on a warm day. He wasn't very happy to see us and bounded up the mountain in a flash.  Bears are spotted quit a bit this time

of year taking a little dip in the water.
