Whitewater River Trips with Lodging

2 & 3-DAY RAFTING TRIPS WITH LODGING:

rafting the salmon river canyonIf you like the sound of a 2- or 3-day river adventure but prefer the comfort of a roof over your head, a bed, a hot shower and a flush toilet, we can accommodate you in one of the few remote lodges along the river.

At the end of your day of rafting, your guide will introduce you to your lodge host who will show you to your room and attend to your meals until the following day.

After breakfast you will continue on your whitewater rafting adventure with your guide. Although we feel that our camping experience (cooking out, camp fire, sleeping under the stars, using our porta-potty in the great outdoors etc.) is exceptional, we offer the lodging alternative for our guests because we understand that it is not for everyone.

World Class White Water On The Salmon River

Whitewater on the Main Salmon RiverTHE MAIN SALMON RIVER in Idaho is famous for World Class Guided White Water river trips.  The Salmon is the longest free flowing Wild River, slicing through the largest Wilderness Area, in the lower 48 States. It has carved a canyon deeper than the Grand Canyon and equally spectacular.

The water is clear and refreshing at a perfect swimming temperature of around 72 degrees mid-summer. The climate is hot and dry in the summer with occasional late afternoon thunderstorms passing swiftly and moodily by.
