Enjoy the beauty of the Salmon area from the saddle on an easy walking trail. Follow it up, the next day, with a thrilling whitewater rafting ride, for you and your family, on the "River of No Return". No prior experience is necessary. Includes one day of whitewater rafting, one day of horseback riding, local transportation and 3 nights stay at the Greyhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast.

If you are looking for variety, this package is made for you! A combination 3-Day Whitewater Rafting Trip on the Salmon River combined with a 2-Day Horseback Ride into the Rocky Mountains with lodging before, between and after your adventures.


Kookaburra Raft and Ride PackageNight 1: Stay at the Greyhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast
Day 1: Begin your 3-Day Whitewater Rafting Adventure on the Salmon River at 9.00 a.m. in Salmon. Stop for a really cool gold mine tour and a delicious lunch then get to camp at around 4 pm after a full day of rafting, laughing and swimming fun!
Night 2 & 3: Camp along the river and enjoy a delicious dutch oven baked dinner and breakfast.
Day 2 & 3: Fun on the river continues, with another riverside lunch, ...and ends after having white water rafted 45 miles of the famous "River of No Return". Arrive back in Salmon at around 5pm.

Night 4: Freshen up back at the B&B
Day 5: Begin your 2-Day  Experience our beautiful wilderness spending a few days in the saddle on your mountain horseback riding vacation! With our 2  day overnight Idaho horse pack trip, you’ll encounter true western hospitality as we provide mountain camp accommodations consisting of large wall tents with cots and a solar shower for added comfort. Many of our guests enjoy early morning or evening wildlife safari’s heading out on scenic horseback riding trails or hiking where elk, deer, antelope and an occasional mountain goat or sheep can be viewed and photographed.
Goat Lake, at an elevation of 9,400 feet is an additional 4 1/2 mile ride from the Cow Creek camp. This secluded, beautiful Alpine mountain lake is loaded with native trout and offers some pleasant fishing.
